Compassion & mindfulness courses in Tooting (various dates) with Emily Oliver.
Compassion Cultivation Training (CCT™) is Stanford University’s secular course in mindfulness and compassion training. Developed by Thupten Jinpa (the Dalai Lama’s principal translator) Kelly McGonigal PhD, and other psychologists and contemplative scholars.
By integrating traditional meditation practice with contemporary psychology and scientific research, Stanford University’s course can support a wide range of intentions. Preliminary research suggests CCT can reduce stress, depression & compassion fatigue, and enhance experiences of joy and connection.
Life can often seem hectic, stressful and frustrating. My experience of CCT is that it can help people find peace, deal with stresses, and simply enjoy life more.
